Personality: Ariete has two defaults; monotony or anger. Be careful when you approach her, as which one you get can change without warning. Having been on Earth for so long, Ari has begun to grow a fascination with humans and their lifestyles, indulging in things such as eating and sleeping even if she doesn't need those things to survive. Despite how easy she is to anger, she's equally easy to fluster; in fact, they often go hand in hand. She is incredibly lazy most of the time, but is willing to get up and put in some work if the reward is worth it. She has a tendency to hide or even flat out deny her softer emotions, such as joy, fear, sadness, and especially love.
Biography
Ariete is still very young, at least in comparison to the rest of her kind. She was created to be an earth-wandering demon; who's job it is to lure righteous humans into sin with her tactics of temptation. In earlier years, she would haunt humans and encourage them to partake in their suppressed sinful urges, as was expected of her. However, Ari was... Different from other demons. Over time, she found herself gradually starting to feel guilt over what she was doing. Being a contributing factor in acts of things involving adultery and murder was a bit too much for her after a couple hundred years. She knew that these feelings were unnatural for her kind, and for a long period of time she attempted to bury them. But eventually she had decided she had enough. She went up to earth with the pretense of corrupting another soul, but when she arrived on the surface world, she just... Decided to never return. Ever since, Ariete has been living on Earth, just attempting to find a place to fit in with the rest of human society. She lives in a silent fear that eventually one of her fellow demons will appear to drag her back to Hell, forcing her to continue her life of corruption. But, until then, she remains on earth, wanting nothing but to live a life with her own moral compass.
Abilities
Telekinesis: With a single glance, Ariete can move objects within a certain radius with her mind. Trying to control anything heavier than the weight of a small car can cause her severe headaches, vomiting, and even feinting.
Strength: Ariete is shockingly strong for how small and scrawny she is. Her muscles are about as strong as her mind, able to withstand the weight of an average truck until her thin arms begin to struggle.
Mind control: An ability meant to be a last resort; Ariete has the power to completely control another person's thoughts and actions. The person is still conscious as she does this, and a strong enough will can fight her influence. However, Ariete almost entirely refuses to use or even acknowledge this power, as it conflicts with her own moral convictions.
